Our clinical and theoretical interest primarily focuses on four areas:
Intersubjective interactions and the constitutive bonds of the human being: Exploring and understanding the deepest and most intimate part of the human soul, focusing on how relationships and social interactions influence the formation of identity, the construction/fragmentation of the Self, and the creation of intersubjective bonds, group affiliations, and cultural and social configurations.
Development and refinement of therapeutic and clinical approaches: Designing new forms of therapeutic-clinical approaches based on psychoanalysis that take into account the interdisciplinarity of clinical work in healthcare services, schools, legal institutions, and social assistance, aiming to provide integrated care and personalized treatment capable of reflecting on and adapting to different contexts.
Embodiment and processes of symbolization: Exploring the mind-body connections through the investigation of affective-emotional, representational, and symbolic aspects, thus contributing to the understanding of different forms of somato-psychic and psycho-somatic suffering.
Social challenges and transformations in contemporary times: Applying psychoanalysis as a model to read and interpret social, cultural, environmental, and political phenomena within an ecological perspective, with particular emphasis on power dynamics and the role of technology and AI in shaping individual and collective scenarios.
